There is no justice without truth, so combining allegorical depictions of both into one design is a fitting way to pay tribute to the Supreme Court of Canada on its 150th anniversary. The gilded figures of Justice and Truth are carefully engraved and finely sculpted on the reverse of this coin.

The allegorical design of this coin, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Supreme Court of Canada, was inspired by Walter S. Allward's sculptures Ivstitie (Justice) and Veritas (Truth), which stand above the steps of the Ottawa Courthouse.

The amount of engraved detail is impressive and each engraved element adds symbolic meaning to the design.

A serial certificate is included. The Royal Canadian Mint certifies all of its collectible coins.
