To mark the 35th anniversary of Australia's iconic kookaburra, the reverse of the coin features a majestic kookaburra perched on a tree branch. The design pays homage to the original design of the Australian coin, featuring the kookaburra and vibrant lines symbolizing a ray of sunshine. The bird and outer ring of the coin are gilded in 24k gold. The reverse of the coin also features the inscription "KOOKABURRA 35th ANNIVERSARY", The Perth Mint's mint mark "P" and the coin's weight, purity and year 2025.
